For more information about how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small pieces of information that a website may store on your browser or device.

Websites may also use similar technologies, such as local storage or comparable browser mechanisms, to remember settings, maintain sessions or understand how a service is used.

Some technologies are necessary for a website or account to function. Others, such as analytics technologies, are optional.

2. Essential technologies

SayHere may use essential cookies or similar technologies where they are necessary to:

  • maintain authentication and account sessions;
  • protect the security of the service;
  • remember privacy and consent choices;
  • maintain guest-session continuity;
  • remember language or interface preferences;
  • prevent abuse and support basic technical operation.

These technologies are not used for advertising.

Where permitted by applicable law, essential technologies may operate without optional analytics consent because the service cannot function correctly without them.

3. Optional analytics

SayHere currently uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the public homepage is used.

At present, Google Analytics is enabled only on the public homepage (/). Private product pages under /app are not tracked by Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is treated as non-essential analytics.

SayHere is designed so that Google Analytics is activated only after the required analytics consent has been provided.

If you reject analytics, SayHere should continue to provide its core functionality without activating optional Google Analytics tracking.

4. What analytics may collect

When analytics are enabled, Google Analytics may receive limited technical and usage information such as:

  • pages viewed;
  • approximate visit time and duration;
  • interactions with features on the public homepage;
  • browser and device information;
  • technical information about how the site is accessed;
  • approximate geographic information derived from network information;
  • analytics identifiers.

The exact information generated by Google Analytics may depend on your browser, device, Google Analytics configuration and the features enabled at the time.

5. What we do not intentionally send to analytics

SayHere is designed so that Google Analytics does not intentionally receive:

  • the text of your Situations;
  • private messages you send to the AI;
  • AI-generated conversation replies;
  • private screenshots;
  • uploaded private conversation content;
  • authentication codes;
  • passwords;
  • sensitive personal information entered into a private Situation.

Private conversation content must not be intentionally placed in analytics event names, parameters or URLs.

6. Your choice

Where analytics consent is required, you can choose whether to allow optional analytics.

Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from using SayHere's core functions.

Your analytics preference is currently stored in your browser's local storage for up to 180 days so that SayHere can remember your choice. You can change that choice later using the privacy or cookie controls provided by SayHere.

Withdrawing analytics consent does not make earlier processing unlawful.

It may also not immediately remove information that was already lawfully collected before withdrawal and remains subject to the applicable provider retention period.

7. Analytics retention

SayHere's current Google Analytics configuration uses a 14-month retention setting for relevant user-level and event-level data.

Google Analytics provides retention controls for user-level and event-level data, including a 14-month option for standard GA4 properties.

This setting does not necessarily determine how long all aggregated reporting data is retained by Google.

8. Google Analytics and international processing

Google Analytics is provided by Google.

Information processed through Google Analytics may be handled in the United States or other countries in which Google or its service providers operate.

Where required by applicable law, international processing is subject to applicable legal safeguards.

More information about international transfers and our service providers is available in the Privacy Policy.

9. Advertising

SayHere does not currently use cookies to build advertising profiles from private SayHere conversations.

We do not intentionally use private Situation content for targeted advertising.

If SayHere's advertising practices materially change in the future, this Notice and the relevant consent choices will be updated before that processing begins.

10. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Cookie & Analytics Notice if:

  • our use of cookies or similar technologies changes;
  • analytics providers or settings change;
  • new legally relevant technologies are introduced;
  • applicable requirements change.

The latest version will be published on SayHere with an updated effective or revision date.

Analytics preferences

If you agree, Google receives homepage and pricing-section views, primary CTA clicks, reviewed campaign labels, technical browser information and your network connection, including your IP address. Cookies help distinguish visits. Private /app pages, conversations, Situations, screenshots and account details are not tracked. Advertising and personalization are disabled.

Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days. Reviewed campaign attribution is kept in this tab for up to 30 minutes. Change or withdraw it here at any time. Withdrawal stops further collection and deletes these analytics cookies; it does not automatically delete data already received by Google. Essential storage for sign-in and the service remains available.
